18th International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (ICCIT) 2015
A 3-day long International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (ICCIT) – 2015 will be held at Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) during 21 – 23 December, 2015. In this conference researchers and professionals from both academia and industry from USA, Canada, Australia,Korea, China, India, Malaysia, Turkey and Germany along with Bangladesh will participate for sharing up-to-date knowledge and experience in the fields of ICT. This year ICCIT-2015 is powered by RobiAxiata Limited and supported by ICT division of Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Having started its journey from 1998, the conference has been focusing on recent researches, article presentations and discussions on demanding tracks including algorithms, artificial intelligence, bio-informatics, networking and wireless communications, cloud computing, database systems, pattern recognition, robotics, etc.It is expected that this conference will eventually build a forum of researchers from public and private organizations, entrepreneurs, engineers, students all over the world which will open a door to innovations and sustainable developments in IT which will have a significant impact on shapingDigital Bangladesh.
Honorable state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, ICT Division, Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh will grace the inauguration ceremony as Chief Guest. Chief of Bangladesh Air Force, Air Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, ndc, acsc will be the Special Guest.The Country Head, Digital Services of RobiAxiata Limited Mohammad ManjurRahman will represent RobiAxiata Ltd. in the ceremony.Head of the department of CSE,Group Captain Md Afzal Hossain, psciscoordinating the overall organizational activities of this conference under the patronage of the Commandant, MIST. Prof Dr M Kaykobad is working as Chair, Advisory Committee of the conference.
About this conference, Brigadier General Md. Shohail Hossain Khan, psc, Director, Research and Development wing, MIST has expressed his hope that, ICCIT – 2015 wouldimpart a significant contribution towards the realization of Digital Bangladesh through the excellence of ICT as envisaged by the present Government.
